AMoL Chapter 12

First there was light, then there was... Chapter 12 (perhaps with a few billion years in between).

This is some thoughts of mine on this chapter in the AMoL book. Other posts on other chapters can be found here. This post will very likely contain spoilers for all WoT books. If you haven't read all of the WoT series, including AMoL you read on at your own risk.
What Happens
Birgitte is fighting a guerrilla warfare tactics in the forest, worrying that she'll forget her previous lives and that she's been stripped from the Horn. Rand dreams in a dreamshard he has created, but Lanfear invades, and tries to entrap him. He deflects that without too much difficulty, and opens his mind to her, she she knows that he doesn't love her, and that she means nothing to him.

Perrin is in Braem Wood as well, he approaches Edarra and asks her about Dreaming, and whether she can teach him how to enter Tel'aran'rhiod physically. She refuses, claiming it's an evil practice.

What is Perrin doing in the woods? I thought Elayne had put him in charge of organising the camp at Merrilor. Maybe I'm remembering that wrong, and that was just a short two day job. But Faile must still be back there sorting out supplies. Somehow I think that Perrin is going to work out how to get into the dream physically, despite the refusal from the Wise Ones.

It seems I was wrong about Rand falling into Lanfears trap, and it hasn't been much of an issue for him to deal with.
